Garten-Hotel Ponick - Cologne

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel that exceeded my expectations. the prices were extremely reasonable, offering great value for money. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the well-maintained rooms to the friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel within a quiet residential area, just a short tram ride away from the city centre, was perfect for a peaceful getaway. I especially loved the rooms with their own balcony overlooking the beautiful garden, it was a great addition to the already comfortable and clean rooms. Additionally, the breakfast provided had a variety of options, including gluten-free bread for those with dietary restrictions. this hotel provided a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.

All was perfect, nothing to improve!

Great to have free parking and wifi - this was really helpful. We also appreciated the breakfast which had a lot of options to choose from. It was in a peaceful neighbourhood which was really important for us, especially over the Christmas period.

The room was very cold, which made it hard to enjoy our stay fully. the shower pressure was too low for our liking, which made it hard to enjoy the shower as much as we would have liked.

The Garten Hotel Ponick is a hidden gem in a quiet residential area outside of the city. With its own kitchen and spacious rooms, it offers great value for money. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The beautiful garden adds a touch of tranquility to your stay.

There are shops, restaurants and supermarkets close by. the staff is multilingual and welcoming, and the room and bathroom are clean. the breakfast, which includes Mediterranean and continental options, is good value for money at 8 euros per person. Some advantages include firm beds and a fantastic bathtub.

Some guests may find that the hotel is a bit far away from the city centre.

Great service and friendly staff who went out of their way to help us find our way around. the breakfast offered a good variety of options and was reasonably priced. the rooms were clean and comfortable, with plenty of space for our luggage. We also appreciated the convenient location, with easy access to public transportation and several restaurants nearby.

The lack of amenities in the room. There were no extra blankets or pillows, and the towels provided were small and scratchy.
